Walking With Purpose comes to St. Barbara
This Fall, Walking With Purpose will look a little different here at St. Barbara Parish. Due to the restrictions placed on us during the pandemic, we will not be meeting in The Sterling Event Center at St Barbara. All of our lessons will be held virtually using Zoom until we are able to return the Event Center. While we love seeing your beautiful faces in person, we are excited to continue our program online and expand upon the tremendous success we experienced during our first year!
For those of you who are new to Walking With Purpose, it is a Women’s Bible Study that will take you on a Spiritual walk with our Lord. Walking With Purpose would like to help you enjoy a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ, nurtured through personal Bible study and small group discussions created just for women. It is parish-based, approved by parish leadership, and supported by the Walking With Purpose national staff, and welcomes everyone irrespective of faith background, age, or marital status. The program incorporates at-home Scripture study, weekly small group discussion, and monthly talks on relevant study material. Our small group leaders are volunteers who have received training to help facilitate discussions among the women in the group.
Our course offering this year will be Keeping in Balance. Registration fee for this program is $10.
The book must be purchased separately through the Walking With Purpose website for $40.

To ensure that you will receive your book prior to our program start date of September 28,
registration and book purchase must be completed prior to Sept. 14th, however, you may register and join the group at any time.
If you are interested in joining us for the Walking With Purpose Bible Study here’s what to do:
- Fill out the registration information at the bottom of this page.
- Click the submit button and pay the $10 program fee by credit card (this fee will go toward purchasing zoom licenses)
- Purchase your Keeping in Balance book from the Walking With Purpose website using this link: https://shop.walkingwithpurpose.com/collections/study-guides/products/keeping-in-balance-study-guide
- Either download the Zoom app on your iPad, tablet, or smartphone; or download the Zoom Program on your computer. Once it is downloaded, create a login on Zoom using your email and a password. We will use the email address connected with your Zoom account to create "breakout sessions" for the small group discussions. A login is required so we can identify you when you join a WWP session, and place you at your assigned table. Link to Zoom
